| Caption: | Colonel R.D Maclagan CBE, MC served in the Seaforth Highlanders from 1933 to 1960. The photograph was taken while he was commanding 11th Battalion Seaforth Highlanders TA in about 1958. On the amalgamation of the Seaforth and Cameron Highlanders in 1961 to form the Queen's Own Highlanders, he became Regimental Secretary at Cameron Barracks, Inverness until 1978. At one time was the army amateur boxing champion. |
