| Caption: | George Wilson Brass, 16 Broadstone Park, Inverness. Copy. Originally from Orkney, he was captured with the fall of Hong Kong in WWII. He died of malnutrition on 10th December 1944 while a prisoner of the Japanese. Born in 1918 he joined the RAF after completing his education at the Inverness Royal Academy, and had been posted to Hong Kong in 1938. His daughter Dorothy later emigrated to New Zealand. |
