Caption: | Lt C.A.R MacRae, Seaforth Highlanders, Salamanca Barracks, Aldershot, June 1927. MacRae was mentioned in the Ross-shire Journal of 31st July 1942: 'Major C.A.R Macrae, The Seaforth Highlanders (attached Camerons), who has been reported missing in Libya, June 1942, is a well known officer of the County Regiment, who, before the war, was on a tour of duty at Fort George. His wife, Mrs Macrae, at Joymount Court, Carrickfergus, County Antrim, will be grateful for any information that may be contained in personal letters to people in the North.'
