The Depot Commander, Colonel RDMC Miers DSO, is seated in the centre between Field Marshal Montgomery and General Sir Philip Christison Bt, KBE, CB, DSO, MC the GOC-in-C Scottish Command. There is a full account of the visit in 'The 79th News of 1948,' including a full key to the group photograph.
