Gordon Castle staff. Submitted...
Robina Mitchell Fraser and John Hogg of the Cameron Highlanders. They were married in 1915 when Robina was working at Gordon Castle. Lieutenant John Hogg, MC, MM was born in 1887. He served in the Cameron Highlanders 1907 to 1920 and had the rare distinction of winning the Military Medal as a sergeant in 1916 and the Military Cross as an officer in 1919. A very full biography of him is held in the archives of the Highlanders' Museum at Fort George. Submitted by Catherine Cowing.
