Reverend Ewen Macqueen (c1866-1949). Born in the Isle of Skye he married Jessie Campbell. They had four children; Catherine M (d1906), Malcolm C (c1908-1967), Cathie (c1910-1951) and Alice (c1912-1995). Cathie married Samuel Kersten.

Mrs Peter Paterson, Kiltearn, Inverness. Anne Margaret Mackintosh, born 1870 was a domestic servant when she met and married master baker Peter Paterson in 1897. By 1911 they had adopted a daughter, Dorothy M. Robertson. When her sister died of tuberculosis in 1913 (her brother-in-law had died earlier) she took in their children, James Daniel Mackintosh (1905-1970) and Margaret Elizabeth (Maisie) Mackintosh (1907-1920) see ref: 23126. After his sister died, James Daniel emigrated to the USA in 1923, and Peter, Anne and Dorothy Paterson followed in 1925 with their final destination Michigan, Detroit. Peter Paterson was the brother of famous photographer Andrew Paterson (1877-1948).
