Miss Paterson, Kenneth Street, Inverness. The young man on the left is James Daniel Mackintosh (1905-1970), son of James Daniel Mackintosh (1867-1909) and Christina Christie (1877-1913). At right is his younger sister Maisie (1907-1920). After their parents died they were taken in at different times by several different relatives, including his mother's sister Anne, who had married Peter Paterson. James Daniel Mackintosh emigrated to the USA in 1923, after Maisie died in 1920.
