'Owing to the international situation, the marriage took place quietly on Saturday in St. Andrews Cathedral, Inverness, of the Hon. Frederick Anthony Hamilton Wills, eldest son of Lord and Lady Dulverton, and Miss Judith Betty Leslie Melville, eldest daughter of the Hon. Ian and Mrs. Leslie Melville. The Bishop of Moray, Ross and Caithness (Primus of the Scottish Episcopal Church) officiated, assisted by the Very Rev. A. A. D. Mackenzie, Provost of Inverness Cathedral. The bride, who was given away by her father, wore a brown two-piece suit. There were no bridesmaids. The Hon. E. R. H. Wills (brother of the bridegroom) was best man. A reception was afterwards held in the Station Hotel by the Hon. Mrs. Leslie Melville.' The marriage ended in divorce in 1961. Anthony Wills, the 2nd Baron Dulverton b.1915-d.1992. Francis James Chalmers (1881-1956) was born in Surrey, a twin with sister Margaret. His fathers motor vehicle business established in 1850 (J. Chalmers and Sons Ltd), traded from the Redhill Garage and could accommodate up to 50 cars. They also held the Ford franchise. He married Christina Ann MacMillan in 1919. She died in Reigate in 1922 and he later married Constance Paterson (1902-1975) of Inverness in 1936, the daughter of famous photographer Andrew Paterson (1877-1948).
