Alexander MacRae of the Inverness Burgh Police, featuring the cap badge showing a camel and elephant (standing on all fours) as supporters for the Inverness Arms. A January 1948 copy of a photo from c1912. Born c1878 he was a Gamekeeper before joining the Police in 1899. Promoted sergeant in 1920, he retired in 1934.
