Daughter of Colonel James Evan Bruce Baillie of Dochfour and Nellie Lisa Bass, Baroness Burton of Burton-on-Trent and of Rangemore. She married Sir Digby Lawson, 2nd Bt. on 2 November 1922. Miss Dorothy Paterson, Kenneth Street, Inverness. The young man on the left is James Daniel Mackintosh (1905-1970), son of James Daniel Mackintosh (1867-1909) and Christina Christie (1877-1913). When his parents died, he and his younger sister Maisie were taken in at different times by several different relatives, including his mother's sister Anne, who had married Peter Paterson. He is with the Paterson's adopted daughter Dorothy (1906-1967). James Daniel Mackintosh emigrated to the USA in 1923, after Maisie died in 1920. Peter Paterson was the brother of famous photographer Andrew Paterson (1877-1948), who also emigrated with wife Anne and daughter Dorothy in 1925.

Chalmers and Sons Ltd), traded from the Redhill Garage and could accommodate up to 50 cars. They also held the Ford franchise. He married Christina Ann MacMillan in 1919. She died in Reigate in 1922 and he later married Constance Paterson (1902-1975) of Inverness in 1936, the daughter of famous photographer Andrew Paterson (1877-1948).
