Hamish Paterson (1904-1982). Tigh-an-Uillt, 48 Culduthel Road, Inverness. Later became an architect and married Florence Margaret Ross (1909-1987) in 1940. (see images 1299a to 1299k). He had a twin brother, Hector Paterson (see image ref 37284) and was the son of famous photographer Andrew Paterson (1877-1948).

The Association had 178 branches in the UK and 14 overseas branches. All members were known as 'chums.' The banner in the background now hangs in the Inverness Town House. #
